Data repository

The growing demand for the publication of supporting data derived from the research process responds to the postulates of the current called Open Science and which, in this regard, promotes the sharing of data derived from conducting research.

In Argentina, the foundations for data sharing (UCD) are expressed in Law 26,899 on the creation of own or shared Open Access institutional repositories and their regulations. Based on what is established by this regulation, the CONICET established by resolution that the journals that make up the Basic Nucleus of Argentine Scientific Journals “must require the supporting data of the research and its deposit in accordance with Law 26,899, Institutional Digital Access Repositories Open."

Therefore, ASEI encourages the authors of research papers submitted to be published in the journal, before submitting them, to deposit the primary data of their work in the repositories of their institutions of membership or in some of the Open Access repositories tailed below: Zenodo, SciELo Data {requires prior deposit of the article in SciELo preprints}; or in some of the data repositories that you can locate by disciplinary field within the Research Data Repository Registry called r3data.org
