Jaime Kovensky Pupko

Abstract

Jaime passed away suddenly on May 19th. A large number of associations, scientific societies, biochemistry colleges, and universities bid him farewell with affection and gratitude for his tireless work and camaraderie. I take this opportunity to sketch the profile of a passionate professional, committed to public health and to the training of generations of biochemists and physicians. On behalf of the Editorial Committee of the ASEI Journal and myself, we express our gratitude for his invaluable collaboration as a reviewer for the Journal over the past two decades.
