Copyright
When an article is finally accepted in the journal, the authors retain the intellectual property of their works and assign their economic rights (for publication or exploitation) to ASEI on a non-exclusive basis, which allows reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This implies that articles may be shared (copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format) and adapted (remixing, transforming and creating another work from the material) as long as the authorship and the original source of publication (journal, publisher and URL of the work) are cited, they are not used for commercial purposes and the same license terms are observed.
ASEI adopted the aforementioned Creative Commons license in 2021, starting with issue 105. Since that year, the license logo and its respective scope legend have been included in all full-text files for each published article. Additionally, starting with issue 116 in 2024, this information also appears on the home page of each article.
