Dengue fever has become a serious public health problem in Argentina, with a progressive geographic expansion and a sustained increase in the number of cases. During the 2023-2024 season, more than 580,000 cases and 419 deaths were recorded, underscoring the urgent need to implement preventive strategies that complement vector control.
Vaccination with TAK-003 represents a fundamental advance in dengue prevention in Argentina within the framework of a comprehensive disease control strategy.
